There is also an insurance fee that applies. If traveling outside Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zero Excess is mandatory to be added to the contract. Without Zero Excess insurance, it is not allowed to travel outside of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

If the car is rented from the rental company, the driver would need a travel permit to take the car to another country. A permit to travel across the border is purchased at the rental office when picking up the vehicle. Charge is 75.00 EUR. Road assistance or car replacement while driving abroad is not available. The rates above do not include VAT.

Cross border rentals are allowed in the following countries:

EUR 50 per country – Montenegro and Serbia
EUR 60 per country – Albania, Kosovo and all other EU countries

Cross border fee is excluding any cross border insurance. Cross border insurance is based on the rental days and charged to the customer as per Insurance company fee.

Cross border travel is not allowed to Kosovo, Turkey and Greece.

For taking the rented vehicle on ferry a charge of EUR 10 per rental will apply.

• Cross-Bordering

Cross border travel is allowed into the following countries for a charge of EUR 65 + VAT per rental:

Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia and Albania.

Unauthorised cross-border driving is subject to a penalty fee of EUR 500.

Green card document is necessary for crossing the border. Please check at the rental desk for more information.

Cross border is allowed.

It is allowed to travel to all the countries for an additional charge of EUR 20 per country.

Cross border travel is NOT allowed to Kosovo.

It is not allowed to drive the vehicle “off road”, i.e. on macadam and where there is no asphalt – for example ProkoSko Lake. In the event that it is established through GPS that the driver was in similar areas, he/she is obliged to pay an additional 500,00 BAM (CCA 250.00 EUR), and he/she will have to compensate for any damage from his/her own pocket.

In case of offense against Cross Border and Territorial Restrictions all protections lose their validity.

Cross border travel is allowed only on request and with prior approval from the rental company. All the rented vehicles are allowed to cross the border to all countries. An additional charge of EUR 30 + VAT per rental will apply.

Cross border travel to Kosov is not allowed.
